Definitely!!
I use a Canon 550D with a 35 mm 1.4 lens by Sigma for both my outfits and product pictures :) I don't use photoshop but I do basic edits like contrast up or make something lighter and stuff like that and there is a website that has the basic features of photoshop (it's called pic monkey) that I sometimes use for those type of things. It has some cute filters that are a bit instagram-y :)
